Like so many of the women I now support, my journey started with my own menopause experience.

I’ve felt the confusion, the frustration, and the constant noise telling women that their bodies are somehow “wrong” or need fixing. But I’ve also discovered something incredibly powerful: your body doesn’t need to be exhausted from over training and under eating - it needs understanding, positive nutrition, strength, and support.

I’ve spent decades in fitness, as a mum of three, educator, and qualified instructor since the 1980s, training hundreds of women. And I kept seeing the same problem: women measuring their worth by weight instead of building real strength.

So I changed my approach.

I created the Strength Over Scales Method - focused on strength, muscle, bone health, and long-term wellbeing. Not weight. Not BMI. Not outdated rules.

Because the truth is:

You don’t need to shrink to be strong. You don’t need a number to be healthy. You need strength, confidence and support.

That’s what this is about.

This isn’t about scales. This is about strength. This is about your journey.
